>>I drove from WA state to Maine with my cat. I had a litter box in the car for her. At that time I didnt' think about putting her in a carrier. Now I know better. But I drove 22 hrs. I also left her in the car over night. The first night I didn't and I almost lost her in the hotel. The second night the hotel didn't allow cats and I had been driving for 22 hrs so I took the room. It was warm then it was September.

>>Anyway good luck on your trip.

>>If you want to drive further then just 8 hrs a day, I would stop to let them out of the carriers every 3 hrs and let them walk around the car.

Gosh! I hope you mean walk around INSIDE the car.

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!
