Sounds like Chloe is displaying some mis-directed aggression. Could she have been startled by something like another cat or animal outside?



Your best bet is to keep them separated and re-introduce slowly like you would if they were strangers. You can also opt for a Comfort-Zone plug in with Feliway. These are pricy but often work at calming a cat down.
