You should talk to your vet about this. My feeling is that it will endanger the cat, and probably on an overseas flight you wouldn't be allowed to carry her on.



If you are only going to be gone for six months, perhaps you could find someone to foster her until you get back. You may have some local rescue groups who can help with this. Again, ask your vet and see if s/he knows of anything along this line.
