Honeybee --

You have my sympathies. This what why I personally despise Fluvals. They really filter magnificently but I can't stand servicing them.



I switched over to a FILSTAR XP canister filter (alot of good I suppose this info does for you at this point) and I must say it was worthi it!! It literally takes a second to disconnect it and 10-15 minutes to clean it and another minute to reconnect and start up again!! Can't say enough good things about it!



Good luck. Fluvals do a great job and in time you will get the knack of getting hooked up with out too much pain and suffering.
