Intimidation factor?

Have a 5 yr.old female, about 7 lbs. Got a new male, 15 lbs., over 2 years ago. In the past few weeks the male has been overly aggressive towards the female, in a playful manner. She's been affected by this to the point of not eating in her normal spot, and generally trying to avoid him. He' just a big playful oaf, but the female doesn't buy into his games.



Any hints to get them more compatible?
