He does it when he's hungry-he does it when he is frightened or strangers come into the house. So I figured that I must be a "surrogate mother cat".

Yep, that explains it! You're his Mama kitty and your neck is his 'teat'. He loves you and he comes to you for comfort!



I'm lucky that Samantha just buries her nose in my armpit instead of licking it. She's almost five years old and is doing it a lot more now than when she was young so maybe Boris won't outgrow it either. They are both a couple of silly kitty cats. heeheehee.
