I am not sure if that is part of being a Maine Coon or whether you just have a loving cat who has managed to bond to your husband. At least the cat seems to accept love from you when he's gone, so the cat must be bonded to you also.



My cat is part Maine Coon we think and he's a real lover-dover. He is mostly bonded to me, but sometimes he hits his dad up for scritches and attention and then I'm personna non grata.
