It's because the kitten doesn't smell like her good buddy any more. He smells like a different cat because of the vet's office. This happens all the time with mine. Even when I take them together. You need to wipe them both down with those cat cleaning wipes or something to get the vet smell off the one and make them smell the same. Everything should be back to normal ina couple of days.
