The Persian will have to be separated from the other cats at first and then gradually introduced after about a week. There is no telling what the cat's reaction might be, however if you look through some of the older threads in this forum you will see a lot of helpful tips on introducing new pets - which is basically what the Persian will be.



It is definitely worth a try. If things just don't work out, then perhaps you can board the cat and your daughter can go for frequent visits, or you could just keep the cats separate for the entire duration of her stay.
