introducting a third cat

I currently have two female cats, ages 11 and 5. Despite the age difference, they get along well. After becoming involved in a local rescue group, I'm seriously considering adding

a third to the family. There is currently a 7 month old female tortie very much in need of a home. Her personality is similiar to that of my girls, sweet but temperamental. Any suggestions on making this work? Thank you.
