I hope the new cat works out well. It sounds like you have thought out everyting and are trying to do things right. Just be patient and keep their time spent together under a limited basis right now!

I knew it was best to introduce another bengal to our family then another breed cat. I needed one that was equally as playfull. Most cats wont be able to keep up with the energy level of a bengal. Atleast from my experiance.
