Your cat may either be stressed due to the move or from the new kittens. She sounds like she is marking her territory. A vet visit is probably called for. She may need an anti-anxiety med (buspur).

If you do try the feliway or rescue rememdy it will take a few weeks to kick in.

Confining the cat is your best bet.

If your gf feels you really can't keep the cat try to get in a rescue group that lets you keep the cat until it can be adopted out to a one pet home.
