All kittens should be spayed before their first heat. With each heat there is a better chance they will get cancer.

I recommend spaying at four months. Most vets say between 5 and 6 months. You should call your vet today. It usually takes at least a month to set up a spay. Your kitten would be just the right at if you did that.
