Behavior change after moving

Has anyone ever experienced a permanent change in their cat's behavior after moving to a new house? I have a client whose cats (3 of them: 9-year old male, 8 and 2-year old females) are acting differently after moving to a new house. Male is yowling more. Older female is reluctant to sleep with owner, younger female has become more skittish. There seems to be no medical reason for this.
