Cat have strange preferences for their water sometimes. She may be drinking the water from the faucet. Perhaps she figures that it's not her territory and runs when you come in because she feels she's in the wrong place!



My cat likes to drink water from a glass - on the keyboard pullout of my computer desk. Go figure...
