Cats prefer running water. My three cats developed this habit after my hubby left the tub faucet dripping and now they hardly even drink from the drinking fountain I bought them years ago! If your new plae doesn't have a tub, your cat will eventually go back to the bowl or invest $30 in a drinking fountain fro cats available online or at your local pet store. Give the cat's a choice and they'll take the one least convenient for you! HaHa!
