Your grandma has to teach him that such behaviour is not acceptable. A water spray can for example works wonders. Whenever he bites, she (or you or your brother) should say loudly 'NO', and at the same time spray him with water (NEVER hit him it'll make him more aggressive!!), or if that's not handy, blow in his face. Then take him IMMEDIATELY to a seperate room and lock him up for about 10 minutes (not longer). A NO, water or blow in his face, and time-out. This has to be done consistently, whenever he's aggressive.



When he's nice though, playing nicely and in a good mood, give him a treat and talk to him nicely. In time he'll learn what behaviour gets him the best results.



And have him neutered if he isn't yet! He will change a lot after that is done!



Another thing always to be considered with young male cats is that they are extremely territorial. From his point of view he is simply making clear that you are in his territory and that he's the boss. Now you and your grandma have to show him that he isn't. However, keep in mind that he needs his territory, and that if he's sitting/sleeping somewhere or walking somewhere you should leave him in peace.
