He's a precious baby - your image didn't come through in your original post and I'm taking the liberty of putting it here:







Often when cats do strange things it is because they accidentally did it and then got a pleasurable response. For instance your cat might have accidentally splashed water on his head and then for some reason was allowed to go outside. This my have happened a few times. He somehow learned that if he splashed water on his he'd get his wish to go out. So the splashing continues!
