My boyfriend and I got our first kitty Sami in may of 2006, we brought her home and as she got older she obviously favored my boyfriend.

My boyfriend and I decided to get a new apartment closer to my family as he was moving out to western canada to work, so we found a nice place and while he was away working, I moved into the new apartment. I took the kitties (we got another one earlier this year so sami would have a friend) to the new apartment and they seemed to adjust just fine.

Now, where my boyfriend is away for about a month at a time, I don't know if sami just sort of forgot about him or just decided that I would do, but she became really affectionate towards me, which she had never really been before.

He came home for a weeks visit on the 17th of august after being away for a month and sami took to him like he had never been gone. He left on the 25th of august and she hasn't been the same towards me since. Any time I get even moderatly close to her she runs away under the bed in the spare room, won't let me touch her let alone hold her (which she used to be really good with before the b/f came home), she used to talk to me all the time (yes I talk to my cats) but now she seems to want nothing to do with me, and I'm the only one home.

Whats up with that?
