no we didnt kill snakes for fun, or for thrills, it was just for survival...there were no phones, no 911, nearest hospital 3hrs drive away in good weather, so you didnt want to let deadly snakes live in your house. I'm sure if I'd had tv and saw how Steve Irwin the croc guy from down under can grab any snake by the tail and not get bit i probably would have tried.. to my mom's horror.
