It is thought that stress can contribute to the virus becoming FIP. Unfortunately tests for FIP are unreliable because there are so many false positives due to the corona virus being present in so many cats. It is hard to answer your questions, because so little is known and understood about this disease - some cats die, some don't, some get the disease after being exposed, some don't. Needless to say it is very frustrating. | ||
