nasal polyp surgery anyone?

Last august I took in a skinny feral kitten who had a upper respiratory infection. He was treated with 4 antibiotics plus lysine and still has nasal congestion sounds plus being underweight. I took him to a vet diagnostic specialistic who recommended he have a thorough eat and oral exam under sedation

plus skull films. If they see a polyp they will remove it . If there is no polyp then they will scope his nose and do a biopsy.

Has anyone had experience with this surgery?
