She had blood work done which cleared her from any problems with kidneys, pancreas, liver or feline leukemia. The results showed her with a weakened immune system/lower cell count. The vet said it may be gastro problem as she was also vomiting anytime she would try to eat(with white froth). I am stumped as we have had her home for 5 days since her diagnosis and she is still not eating - just drinking a little water and a few dry treats a day. She is not getting all of her medication as she is not eating her food (which I have it crushed in) and she fights getting her liquid meds. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next? I'm at a loss as to why she refuses to eat...she appears to want it but as soon as she sniffs it she walks away. Should I bring her to another vet? Appreciate your help! | ||
