I'd say she should start bottle feeding the removed kittens as soon as possible incase she isn't nursing them at all. Is she a first time mom? How many kittens are in the litter? Does she always take out the same ones or is it just a random 3 out of the bunch? She may be overwhelmed and not know what to do with all those kittens crawling on her! Small kittens fade VERY fast so she should probably bottle feed everyone at least a little to be sure they're all getting enough to sustain them. If she is a first time mom it may take her some time to get the hang of it. The most important thing is that everyone is nourished whether it be by mom or a bottle!
