Hey the board seems like it's slow! Well since kitten season is coming I'm sure things will pick up soon. We just got our first litter of foster kittens two weeks ago and they are sooo cute! They came with a momma kitty named Patty, who is a manx with black and grey stripes mixed with white patches. Then there is Marco..a grey and black tabby manx, and Remy...with markings like his momma, another one who looks like her momma and we have named her curly Sue cause she has half a tail which is curled under at the tip (I call her Suzie most of the time) and finally there is Cookie who is white with dark patches all over. When we got them they were 3-4 weeks old and now they are about six weeks or so and got their first shots today. The rescue volunteer who came to give them their shots took pictures and Cookie is already spoken for by a nice woman with 4 kids, including two 10 year old twin girls. One of the girls recently had her cat die, so Cookie will be hers. I know that this rescue group is very choosy on who gets to adopt the kittens so I'm excited that they will all find loving homes.

Our house closes in 3 days!! I'm very excited. When it does close, the foster kittens (and any future litters we take care of) will have their very own room with toys, beds, etc. My husband is going to make a deluxe cat tree for our kitties, working from photos that I printed up. It's really not that hard to make one, and it's waay cheaper than buying them.

The dogs will have a backyard and I'm getting a nice master bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Hubby gets a garage to play in, so everybody wins! Hehe.

Hope all's well with you guys, I'll post some pics of the foster kitties when I get the chance.

Oh, let me see if these pics work:
