They do have very different personalities, don't they!

My Emily is a champaign point and is as outgoing and friendly as they come. She thinks everyone who comes to, or in, the door is here just to visit with her. I had a computer repair guy here yesterday for several hours. He'd been in my office for all of about five minutes when Emily got out of the kitty bed across the room, wandered over and planted herself in his lap--talking to him the entire time. (Fortunately he turned out to be a cat person and was very happy to have her company and "assistance".)

Eddie, a platinum mink, is my shy guy. He sat up in the bed and watched the computer guy work for a while, then quietly left the room. He sounds a lot like Riker -- if there's a strange noise in the house that needs to be checked out, he always lets Emily take the lead. And, he's my real snuggle bunny. I truly think he would be perfectly happy if I carried him around all day long. Emily loves her attention too, but not to that extent.

Carol, Emily, & Eddie

>>Hey All,

>>

>>I'm so glad to hear everyone and their babies are doing well. I have discovered some distinct personalities since Jake and Riker came home a couple of weeks ago.

>>

>>Jake is the smaller, mink, but he is incredibly brave and even-tempered. He will not run away when the vacuum comes on and I even had to give both kittens a bath due to my hubbie’s allergies and he took it all in stride. He also doesn’t want treats or anything after his bath. He is independent and is so precious.

>>

>>Riker is larger and a point. He is easily frightened and quickly gets jealous if I am giving Jake attention. He is also a whiner for rewards and struggled with all his might during his bath. Luckily they only weigh a few pounds - I hate to think what it will be like when they are bigger. Riker is precious because he makes me think he needs me more.

>>

>>I love them!

>>Ms KC
