My gecko is about to shed (he's pale and showing all the signs) so I can snap a few pictures after he is done. He is generally very pale sky blue and gray with bright red dots after his shed. A really pretty color which I think is not common from the tokays I have seen. I have not though about the different locations for tokays up untill you stated so in your post. If I can figure out how to use the micro function on my camera I will maybe submit a few pics to you which may be of use.
