AARRGGGHHhhhh! LET ME VENT!



I just had this conversation with my brother last night. I've been looking for non-strech jean for a could of years now. Can not find them. My theroy is back in the day I could feel a pair of jeans get a little tight and I knew it was time to lay off the eating for a couple of days. Kept me in a size 6 for years.



Now days, how would you ever know when you buy a pair of jeans labeled 12 and they "give" nearly to a size 20?? No wonder we are all getting wider. Not to mention the sagging bottom look they give after a half day of chasing the kid. Like my middle-aged tush needs help looking like its reattaching itself to the back of my knees?



And with the lower cuts now days (not always a bad thing, but like everything, it should be done with more moderation) I spend all day pulling the frickin' things back up. I walk like a gangsta wannabe, how pathetic is that for a mid-life woman? Maybe I should buy some boxers and start letting them hang out to complete the look.



And another thing - why are even the average lengths cut so long that even in heels, jeans are too long? 20 years ago I had to buy "Long" lengths just to accommodate my legs, now I feel like I'm a little girl trying to steal her big sister's clothes they are sometimes so long. I just bought a pair of Vera Wang jeans last week, I had to roll them at least 3". Ugh!!!
