mouth ulcer?

my 9 month old Isabella has a swollen upper right lip, with a white mark - maybe a gash? i can't figure out what it is or where it came from. i rubbed some peroxide over her lip, and later that night she had diarhea, i'm guessing from that. any idea what this is?
