It sounds like there may be some foreign bodyjunder the tongue that keeps reacting. I don't know if this is an abscess, in which case the vet should look under the tongue, or a sore right on the tip of the chin, in which case he should look for a foreign body right in that area. Or your cat might be scratching at the area and causing the sore herself. See if the cat is scratching anywhere else.
