It consists of feeding a fat-free diet for two days, then fasting the cat for two days and giving fluids under the skin, so the cat takes nothing by mouth. Since the duct walls are only a few cells thick, this is enough time for the walls to repair, as no lymph or chyle is moving through the duct, so none is leaking out. | ||
