Although I have seen a personality change during the breeding season, it has never been so bad where I wonder what has happened to my couperi's docile personalities. The females are a little more restless (probably as Dan mentioned, due to the male's advances which can be quite physical) and the males seem to pursue anything that moves or touches them. Males are a lot of fun during this period! Fred, thanks for the warning on Lincoln!
