I wrote it and I hope it answers your questions. As to sexing I can tell most of the time in adults by looking at them but it is difficult to explain exactly what I look for. An easier and more reliable method is to keep the toads in a fairly dry setup and then move them to a shower as mentioned in the article. The males will clasp the females but will release them when returned to their normal setup. This is the best and most reliable method I know of. By the way you said you knew of one person that bred them by accident, Do you know Chris Dodson by any chance or is it someone else?
