Posted by: Dakman at Fri Oct 17 18:17:38 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Dakman ] Tokays become active at dusk. I do my misting at that point and they always come out and lick water of the sides of the viv or leaves or whatnot. By misting at the same time(s) everyday they will learn this and drink on their own. I feed about 30 mins after the evening mist and do a early morning mist also. I think using a syringe to force water in their mouth will badly stress them. I would not handle them at all until they are eating on their own. I myslf dont worry about loose crickets in their viv. I just keep a carrot and orange slice for the crix to munch on if their not eaten right away. Id put some crix in and leave the Tokays alone. | ||
