Posted by: Dakman at Sat Oct 18 14:36:23 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Dakman ] Yes you should mist, Tokays generally wont drink from a water bowel they will drink from the sides of the Viv, leaves or what not after misting. I mist at dusk and in the early morning and keep a pot of water under the heat source which gives me a constant 60% humidity and a little higher right after misting. I use a red 100 watt bulb 24/7 which creates a good heat variant for them in my Viv. You really dont need anything more than 90 f. Im not sure how tall your tank is but a 110 watt may be a little much if its not at least 3 feet or close to it. The only reason you would need a day light is if you have plants or there is no window in the room to give them a day night cycle. Hope this helps. | ||
