will be to not feed rodents or animal protein to a Rhino. I don't do it, never have, probably never will. I feed my Cyclura iguanas the same diet that I feed my Green iguanas... lots of mixed leafy greens, shredded veggies, a little fruit, RepCal pellets as a supplement, and treats of whole wheat bread, plain cooked pasta, some plain cooked rice. My female Cuban, Doonie, used to get a superworm about 4 times a year!
In doing rescue, I've seen what a good amount of animal protein in the diet can do to a Green Iguana. It's not pretty.
