Small male water snakes can be like only 1.5 or 2 ft in which case a smaller tank would work. Big females can hit over 5 ft which a 55 gal or larger would be good. I kept some small blotched in a 75 gal I have but the small male confluens I have had for a few years is fine in a 20 gallon (he is only about 18 inches or so). Andy [ Hide Replies ]
