Good question. I did not have any trouble with the pair I kept in mine. The cage was in use for several years with a friend I gave it too and he also did not have any trouble.



Only trouble he had was when he put a D'alberts python in the cage. It struck at him one day and it's teeth became tangled in the wire screen.
