In fact all you will end up with is a soggy monitor in a moldy cage. Most experienced indo species keepers use very little ventilation, if any, with their enclosures. Just opening the door once a day or so when feeding/changing the water is enough. Keeping a large water container in the cage will also help (large in surface area not depth). In my 6' x 3' cage I only have a small series of 1/4" holes for ventialation on the cool side of the cage. Check out cybersalvator.com for more good stuff on waters.... [ Hide Replies ]
