Hi, I agree with what you said. I am sure I come across as one of those people who does it not so nicely at times. However I am now trying to make a conscience choice not to answer so many questions. Have I bred monitors? Yes and I do. Have I kept many species? Yes and I have bred a few and continue to. However, I know that in a few years I will look back and realize I didn't know what I was saying. There are people on the forums that give advice all day long that do not have experience with what they are saying. I am not speaking of simple husbandry, those questions are fairly easy to answer. However when someone gives incubation advice but has never incubated eggs that is the sad part, the part that hurts newbies and oldies alike. There are many people on this forum giving advice who simply won't be into monitors in a few years, because the fad has worn off. I still have yet to prove that. We will see what I am doing and have done in 30 years. Maybe only I know.
Cheers
