its hard to say not knowing the cage environments, the heat, humidity, age of the snake. try getting a pinky hot under a light, i will usually sit pinkies on a heat lamp, get them good and warm, then proceded to pinch,lightly the back and tail of the snake, until its good and irritated, by holding the pinky infront of its face about an inch or so away, the snake usually hits right away, now if its a baby it may take more than that, look into piky pumps,either do an online search,lots of people sell them, or bigappleherp.com sells them, its gross but it squishes the pinky through a tube into the throat of the snake, often saving te snake, if the above said conditions arent right it will continually cause the snake to have adverse reactions possibly leading to its end, theres lots of good arboreal sites out there, good luck d
