In my experience and testing, the Powersun's are the best....

I've done some UVB research on some mercury vapor bulbs. Even though I'm not finished with my research and testing, I believe the Powersun's are the best bet for your money. They last and they provide a great amount of UVB and heat. The cheapest place to find them is at www.reptiledirect.com.



The only way to "cook" your dragon is to give it too much heat. If the mercury vapor bulb is too warm, just lift it up a bit from the basking spot until you get the desired temp.
