I doubt beardies in the wild are under light constantly all day basking from sun up too sun down. I'm sure there are times they go into rock hides, or shrubbery to escape some of the light. I would just keep an eye on him, make sure he eats like normal, and is not preoccupied with his new hide. If he retreats there to cool them goes back to bask, he might have found a nice easy spot to cool off under. Just make sure he isn't sleeping during the day. If it's just to cool and get out of the sun I think it's normal behavior. | ||
