Thank you so much Matthew! Your words really cheered me up! I know you are right…
I have talked to the woman on the phone several times already and Nico is doing ok. He doesn’t want to eat much, but I am sure he will come around soon. I just had him de-wormed before I gave him away and now everything is new to him so I am not surprised that he isn’t that hungry.
It was a wonderful story about your Uro. It sure feels great when you can help. I had a few heartbreaking experiences when I tried to help two dragons about 1˝ years ago. They didn’t make it and it was terrible to see them die. One baby died in his sleep and I had to take the adult to the vet and put him to sleep – it was best for him he was really suffering, but it was very sad (and hard) for me. So I am so happy that I could help Nico to a much better life. If I find another dragon that needs my help – I’ll do it again - even if I won’t be able to let the dragon stay with me for the rest of its life.
