Posted by: Jmolden87 at Wed Oct 22 20:50:27 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Jmolden87 ] My large adults are around 24", about 4 years old, not sure about their weight. But I think that if you had a really large animal, over 30", that you might want to use a 32qt. I think that a 16qt. would be a good size for young adults. I go by the snake’s length. When the snake is long enough to span about 1 and 1/2 times it's length on the longest side of the Rubbermaid container it is about time to move it to a larger size. But I like to give my snakes some extra room sometimes. It's hard to say without seeing the snake and the cage next to each other. Like I said before, you have to use your best judgement. You should have enough room for the snake to roam yet not give too much room or the snake could have troubles trying to locate it's food. Anyway, that is just my opinion. I'm definitely not an expert. Hope I helped. | ||
