I purchased a snake from a guy about a month ago, she is an emory rat x corn snake. The guy told me she is a year old, but she is only about 18" and I know that is *really* small for her age. He said he had gotten her from a guy that had her on a maintenence diet because he had so many snakes he couldn't afford to feed them much. Anyway... I can't get her to eat but about every 14 days and just a pinky mouse then. About a week after I got her 3 small lumps about the size of small peas appeared in her stomach area, didn't seem to cause her any discomfort and went away after about 4 days. Now when you hold her, you can hear a popping sound sometimes as she slides through your hands. What could this be? I don't want to lose her, she is a really pretty snake and has such a calm personality.
Any ideas?
