From a fellow American who lives in Canada. The road to Laredo, Texas, 9 A.M. in the morning, 1980. Beautiful 6 ft. male Texas Indigo just hit, notice tire marks if you look at pics on indigo snakes.com. Talked to local ranchers (3) and all of them were aware of the big black snakes that ate rattlesnakes! Lots of land out there. Much more than Florida. It was the first DOR that we saw that morning. From a hundred yards down the road at 60km/hr I new that the big black line in the road was not a racer or a coachwhip. I had that aching feeling in my stomach as we got closer and jumped out of the car. If we had left 10, 15, 30 minutes earlier, than just maybe!...Dwight
