I don't know what a "strip cutter" is, but I use a cutter with an oil reservoir and a carbide steel roller. I don't usually cut glass thicker than an 1/8", but I would think that 1/4" glass qwould pose no problem with a good cutter and straight cuts. If you are going to invest in making a nice glass tank, I would invest in a nice cutter. Toyo is probably the best brand out there. You can get one for about 20 bucks. Do a search for stained glass supplies and you will have no trouble finding one. | ||
