Lindsay, Yes, those escaped crickets chirping either late at night or early in the a.m. are quite annoying. I am a light sleeper and declare I can even hear the things crawling around (he,he,he). I have found an easy way to trap the little boogers - it's called Catchmaster Baited Mouse, Insect & Snake Glue Boards - they pop-up like a little square box. I just put them behind the dragon's cages, behind the t.v., behind the toilets in bathroom - places where the box itself can be hidden from our view but places where I'm sure the crickets will gravitate toward. They do smell at first (like a bag of taco chips) - it's the smell that pulls the crickets toward it. Then the glue traps them inside so they can't get out and then they eventually die. You can most likely find them at your local Wal-Mart (where I found mine) or probably Lowes. Hope this helps you - get some "shut-eye". Teresa (TBKDragons)
