I don't like them personally. They don't hold heat and they're dark (so you need a lot of lighting to brighten it up). Frilleds would probably lose a lot of snagged nails in the screen also.



I just built a 2'x2'x4' cage for about $40 w/pressure treated 2x2's and pre-cut 2'x4' boards. I also have a 4'x4'x2' that was only about $60. Your best bet is to build your own. I attached a pic of the $60 cage and the $40 one is the same, but 1/2 the width.
